I'm trying to de-clutter my home this summer. On a weekly basis I try to get rid of at least 10 things. Some of it's trash, some goes to charities like Dress for Success or Goodwill. Some of it is harder to classify - who knows who might want some of my junk? Here are 3 websites I think are invaluable for cutting the clutter- and helping the burder placed on landfills.
You can give away some stuff for free on this site. The day I checked it out, there were free cedar trees, evergreen bushes, a porch swing and a ceiling fan.
You can give people your stuff- totally win/win! There are tons of members in the greater Cincinnati area.
This cool site lets you borrow and trade household items- we don't seem to have a local group set up yet. You can start one for free- it would be a great thing for parent groups.
